Just when I was enjoying the sunshine (with lots of sunblock), it started to rain again 😅 Maybe this is just Nature reminding us to be thankful for the sun while it shines. Don't take anything for granted! 😎
The weather has been quite wet these few weeks. We can't wait for the rain to stop so let's dance in the rain
Illustration of Ang Ku Kueh Girl enjoying the pink flowers with native animals, sunda pangolin, sambar deer, smooth-backed otter, and the olive-backed sunbird. Singapore has been blooming with pink trumpet flowers this week and it's beautiful. Commonly known as the "sakura" of Singapore, the scientific name of the pink trumpet flower is Tabebuia rosa. It is native to the American tropics but planted in Singapore for its shade. Now, it is more than just functional, it is also pretty too! Here are a closeup of the flower: Photo: Tee Swee Ping (from National Parks Board) Check out other pretty photos...
Ang Ku Kueh Girl went to the Treetop Walk but was too scared to look down... (but she will try again!) We had a lot of fun there with Hwee's Book Share Club. Have you been there before? What plants, flowers and animals did you see? Tell us so that we can look out for them the next time we go.
